I am pleased to announce work on the main website is almost finished. We may still change a few things here and there over time, but the basics are quite as they should be right now.

I again urge all our members and close friends to register a WordPress account. Without a WordPress account you can not post in our ShoutBox, so if you haven’t registered yet do so now by clicking this link: https://celticalliance.org/wp-login.php?action=register. Follow the on-screen instructions and you should be fine.

I also want to remind our clan members and close friends again that the account you used on the old website only grants access to the new forums. Do not try to use it to sign into WordPress, as it won’t work. We tried setting up a bridge between the forums and WordPress, but sadly to no avail, so for now all of us need to make do with two accounts.

I am proud to announce that as of today most features we had on our previous website have been replaced with proper WordPress equivalents. These new features can all be found on the right side of this page. As such all clan members and close friends are hereby urged to register a WordPress account to be able to use certain features. You may register your account by scrolling down the bottom of this page and clicking the Register link in the Register & Log in section.

I also wish to provide everyone with some notes about the new ShoutBox. First of, as said in the ShoutBox itself you need a WordPress account to post in it. It may also happen messages posted in the ShoutBox are not fully shown, as you can see in the ShoutBox right now. In such cases just hover your mouse pointer over the shout to read it completely. You may also flip through shouts by using the two arrows at the top of the ShoutBox. One other thing to also keep in mind is that the ShoutBox refreshes after several seconds, which hopefully gives it a somewhat similar feel to the previous ShoutBox we had.

As a final note I also wish to add that we are almost finished with adding features to the main website and will now focus on getting the main website themed. Hopefully we can show off our new home very soon, and focus on normal clan matters even more.

We are pleased to announce that the bare bones of our main website have been set up. Enlistments can now be sent in again, our Game servers and Voice server pages are up and the forums have already been themed.

As you can tell the main website still requires more work, and this will be worked on during the upcoming weeks. We still need to set up a Roster page for instance, need to get the website themed and several plugins still need to be installed.

For now we are in the clear though, and can finally focus on other clan matters as well.

We thank everyone for their patience and help so far.

Welcome to the soon to be redesigned home of the Celtic Alliance. As we are still working on setting things up we hope you will bare with us and forgive us this sudden change.

What happened?

A few days ago our webhost upgraded PHP to 5.4 and because of this upgrade our previous website was rendered useless. We therefore needed to come up with a solution and install new software. The past few days we have been working on migrating our forums to our new forums, and now we have made a start with setting up the bare bones of the main website.

As such our forums and this website are far from complete. We are working as fast as possible to set things up and get someone to skin the main website and forums though, and hopefully within a few weeks we will have most of the website up and running. We therefore ask of our members and visitors to please be patient, and to help where they can.

Special notice to clan members

For the time being you may use the forums to communicate with each other. Our game servers and voice server are also available, so don’t hesitate to use them.

I also wish to notify you, you do not have to register a new account on the forums. All accounts have been safely transfered and you can still sign in with your old account info.
